Before the World Cup started, Franz Beckenbauer
led a delegation from the German Football Federation (DFB) on visits to all qualifying countries. During these visits,
the DFB gave out these Welcome Pins along with "Land of Ideas" Pins. The frame sets were also given out internally
in the DFB and German Organizing Committee. These Framed Sets have sold for over 1,000 € apiece.
